A friend of mine sent me a quote today that I thought was a perfect reflection of how I’ve been feeling lately.
But the moment you say yes to what is, and fully embrace it, you become flooded with an intense aliveness. People often feel it in every cell of their body. Wow! It suddenly feels good to be alive, and what is happening, or not happening, is no longer important. I am that beautiful life that I can feel now. I am one with the aliveness and intelligence that lives in every cell of my being. And if I take action, the action will arise out of the deep sense of connectedness with being that occurs when I accept the now, and the action will be a hundred times more effective than action that arises out of my resistance to what is.
- Eckhart Tolle
It truly is an aliveness that I’ve been feeling, and it has come from accepting my now, and dipping into that sense of connectedness with being.
And fresh on the heels of yesterday’s post, it feels good that Eckhart Tolle too talks this way about inspired action.
Last night when I went to bed, I knew what I wanted very much for today was to continue feeling that inspiration.
And I do. And this quote came to me as a wonderful reminder of how to get to that inspired place, and how to stay there.
Say yes to what is, and embrace it. Accept the now.

Nicely put! I know this feeling you speak of, but what I noticed with myself is… I will feel like lightening is flowing threw my veins.
It will carry me for a few days. I will be at one with myself, everything makes sense, and then all of a sudden…{crash!} It seems to be a cycle for me. I need to learn to keep it more constant.
Taking it one day at a time!

It goes through cycles for me, too. I wish I cuold keep it more constant, too.
I’ve noticed, though, that it happens more frequently, and lasts longer. I’m starting to realize that it’s all a matter of practice.
